MERTRA Brand Introduction

  MERTRA is an Australian street fashion brand with a global reputation for its unique design style, which currently has more than 700,000 + supporters. MERTRA-Hangzhou Aiqi Clothing cooperation process

  The cooperation between Hangzhou Aiqi Clothing and MERTRA originated in 2023. According to the climate change in Australia and the trend of fashion at that time, MERTRA expects to develop fabrics that can change color or pattern according to the change of temperature and humidity. However, the development of this technological fabric has relatively high requirements for suppliers, and MERTRA's original suppliers cannot meet the requirements. Therefore, MERTRA began to look for new large-scale suppliers and published RFQ requirements on Alibaba International website. We got in touch with MERTRA through RFQ and said that MERTRA's requirements could be met, but MERTRA responded that there were more than 5 suppliers that could meet the requirements, but they could not get any definite information. We can understand MERTRA's concerns, but considering the cost of fabric development, we decided to develop fabric A/B test samples for MERTRA free of charge, so as to dispel MERTRA's concerns. After confirming the details with MERTRA, we began to develop the fabric. Due to the need for continuous testing to achieve the best effect, the development time of the fabric was also long. After 20 days, we successfully developed the effect MERTRA wanted, and told MERTRA the good news. MERTRA was very surprised after seeing the video effect, and hoped to send the test fabric to him.

  After receiving the test fabric, MERTRA was very satisfied with the result and decided to develop the sample immediately, and sent us the Tech pack. MERTRA said that it would be a great cooperation and the samples would be a great success in the future. Convinced of this, we started the production of samples. Thanks to the experience of fabric development in the early stage, there were no problems in the production of samples. After completion, we sent it to MERTRA via international logistics.

  So far, although we have only cooperated with MERTRA for 2 years, we have also developed more than 20 products for MERTRA, and the number of products produced has reached 2000+ pieces. We will continue to work together in the future to grow together.
