A visit to Germany for a collaboration trip with a streetwear brand


Introduction

As a specialized streetwear customization manufacturer, Hangzhou Aiqi Clothing continuously seeks premium partnerships to develop market-driven products. Leveraging our international expansion initiative, we embarked on a strategic business trip to Germany—Europe's fashion and street culture hub—from July 22 to 26. This journey aimed to strengthen ties with established local streetwear brands, explore collaboration opportunities, and deepen cultural exchanges, laying the groundwork for future synergies.


Trip Overview

Over five intensive days, we visited multiple existing and prospective partner brands, engaging in in-depth discussions on brand philosophy, market strategies, and potential cooperation avenues. This immersive experience not only enhanced our understanding of German street culture but also solidified relationships for upcoming projects.


Brand Visit Highlights

1. VICINITY

Our first brand was VICINITY, a trailblazer in urban fashion renowned for fusing street elements with contemporary trends, boasting nearly 100,000 social media followers. The meeting focused on their upcoming collection, covering production timelines, logistics solutions, and quality control protocols, with additional discussions on expanded collaboration opportunities.

Guided by VICINITY's founder, we toured their headquarters, immersing ourselves in their vibrant street culture ecosystem. We also shared news of our upcoming participation in the 138th Canton Fair (October 2024) with an independent booth, prompting a confirmed meeting with their team at the event.

2. Moonlight Mansion

Following VICINITY, we visited Moonlight Mansion—a 2020-founded streetwear label inspired by nighttime urban mystique and freedom, specializing in knitted apparel (hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants) with over 200,000 Instagram followers. This visit represented a reciprocal exchange, as their team had toured our facilities in China last year ("courtesy demands reciprocity," as the Chinese proverb goes).

Discussions centered on refining future collaboration frameworks and confirming production schedules for upcoming orders, reinforcing our longstanding partnership.

3. Excentred

Our third visit was to Excentred, a German street fashion brand celebrated for merging luxury aesthetics with urban sensibilities in distinctive designs, boasting 100,000+ followers. We explored strategies for joint European market expansion and creative design collaborations. Excentred expressed strong interest in our customization expertise, signaling promising prospects for tangible partnerships.

4. LOST BOYS

Next, we met with LOST BOYS—a brand established in 2019 by a visionary young founder seeking to transcend traditional paths. Born from the universal "lost" experience, it has evolved from a solo venture into a global community-driven movement emphasizing authenticity and cultural relevance.

Their focus on youth-centric differentiation aligned perfectly with our capabilities. We brainstormed innovative co-branded collections that resonate with Gen-Z audiences, fostering excitement for future creative ventures.

5. No more blanks

Our final visit was to No More Blanks, acclaimed for its clean, minimalist designs infused with streetwear edge. Discussions focused on custom production solutions, small-batch manufacturing optimization, and agile market response strategies. This exchange laid robust groundwork for upcoming collaborative projects.

This intensive tour deepened our appreciation for German streetwear brands' unique cultural identities and design philosophies while highlighting the strong demand for high-quality, professional customization services.
